Meet Anna Arvidsson: Our New Solution Consultant at BE-terna

Tell us a little about yourself and what inspired you to apply here?

I’m originally from Lund but now live in Halmstad with my family – my partner and our two wonderful boys. My background is in sales and procurement, and in recent years, I’ve managed two fantastic teams of inside sales representatives in the pipe industry.

In 2018, I participated in a D365 implementation together with BE-terna, which was then called Tydab AB. During intense periods, we worked closely to solve various challenges, and it rekindled my old career goals. I realized how much I enjoyed project work, improving processes, and finding smart solutions. When I later changed workplaces, I stayed in touch with the project manager from BE-terna, and when the opportunity to join the team arose, it was an easy decision for me to jump onboard.

What does your role look like, and what have your workdays been like so far?

In my role as a Solution Consultant, I focus on understanding and improving our customers' needs and processes within Supply Chain. My previous experience at a smaller company has given me insights into several D365 F&O modules, even if I haven’t always worked with them in depth. Right now, we are identifying the areas where I can contribute the most and fill any resource gaps, likely in procurement, sales, and inventory.

My workdays mainly consist of workshops with customers via Teams and internal meetings, where I get the chance to learn from my colleagues and build a broader understanding of how all the pieces fit together. And, of course, there are also a few breaks to refill my tea cup!

What has been your first impression of BE-terna?

Changing jobs twice in a short period has truly given me new perspectives and helped me understand what I value in a workplace. BE-terna has exceeded my expectations with its open and inclusive culture, where everyone is accepted for who they are, without any demands to fit into a mold. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and from day one, I have felt that my input is valued. It’s a workplace where you can both grow as a person and truly contribute to something meaningful.

What do you like to do outside of work to relax or recharge?

With two boys in middle school, where homework and activities follow one another, and a husband and house to take care of, there’s not much time left for relaxation during the weekdays. And to be completely honest, I’m terribly lazy outside of that and spend way too much time watching influencers organize their refrigerators and exercise, so I don’t have to. Fortunately, I recharge during the day instead. I try to make use of my lunch break to take a walk, enjoy a nice lunch date, or engage in fun conversations in the lunchroom with some good laughs – it’s usually more than enough!

When vacation time rolls around, we’re a family that loves to seize the opportunity to explore the world. It creates so many beautiful memories to look back on during a gray winter day.
