At BE-terna, our commitment to delivering innovative solutions to retailers has been unwavering since 1999. Over the years, we've continually adapted our Point of Sale (POS) System to align with the digital evolution of data exchange between ERP systems and checkouts. Today, we're excited to announce our partnership with Anybill, enabling retail companies to offer digital receipts, reducing paper usage and enhancing the customer experience.
BE-POS, our Microsoft-certified POS solution, seamlessly integrates into the operations of both local and global retail enterprises. Regardless of your product range or establishment type – whether you're a specialty retailer, part of a chain, or an outlet—BE-POS streamlines cash register operations, marketing, finance, and administration.
Our journey with checkout software began in 1999, initially connecting the system to the ERP offline through replication and file transfers. Our first BE-POS system introduced a range of features, including diverse sales options, customer registration, voucher management, and employee support functions.
Today, BE-POS is integrated online into the ERP system. All data can be retrieved and evaluated in real time. Beyond the conventional features found in a standard cash register, the system now offers many additional options and functionalities.
Together with Anybill, we now offer digital receipts. This advancement supports our customers in their digital transformation journey and optimizes customer service. With a digital receipt, customers no longer have to worry about saving physical receipts. This not only saves costs, but also aligns with our commitment to environmental sustainability by reducing receipt paper usage by approximately 90 percent.
The receipt is fulfilled by displaying the corresponding QR code on a customer display, EC terminal or tablet. Customers can receive their digital receipt as a PDF, via email, or through their customer account without any need for registration. Furthermore, these email addresses and customer accounts can serve as valuable tools for marketing initiatives, offering opportunities to connect with additional services and foster stronger customer loyalty.
