I've always wanted to be a part of a big software company, as this usually brings opportunities to work on bigger and more challenging software solutions. As I had already worked with Microsoft Dynamics CRM at my previous job, Blaž Strle (who I knew from playing volleyball) offered me a position at BE-terna, and I am grateful for the opportunity.
In a nutshell: “Every day is a struggle that you overcome with your love of solution development” Being a Solutions Architect for Customer Engagement means you that have to design solutions that connect and integrate the Microsoft Dynamics platform to any existing or new applications/services, which in turn improve typical customer business flows.
A typical day would therefore be: coffee, daily meeting, problem-solving, lunch, coffee, problem-solving.
As a Solutions Architect, you have the opportunity to work with practically every type of technology, which are in turn continually evolving. Could you ask for more? 😊
No cons here!
I would say of course technical expertise, but even more so, you need experience with real-life implementations and supporting these implementations.
Anyone who is open-minded, persistent and goal-orientated would fit in just fine.
